Warehouse & Logistics Manager

Company Overview: Loom Talent Limited have been exclusively appointed by a rapidly growing, well-known, in-house retailer in the Loughborough area, now in search for a Warehouse & Logistics Manager. Our client operates in the materials space for multiple prestigious clients, they are committed to maintaining the highest standards of service, safety, and overall operational efficiency. Your focus on the well-being and development of your staff will be the cornerstone of success whilst having a continuous improvement mindset. * Health & Safety: Uphold rigorous health and safety standards, fostering a culture of safety awareness throughout the warehouse and distribution arm of the business. * Performance Metrics: Continue to evolve the organisational approach to KPI’s, whilst ensuring existing and new site standardisation. * WMS & ERP Expertise: Utilise your experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Business Systems to drive operational efficiency. Familiarity with WMS & ERP implementations is a definite plus. * Customer & Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the seamless flow of goods from the warehouse to the end customer. Key Candidate Requirements: * Have a Logistics Distribution & Supply Chain background - Essential. * Have a minimum of 3+ years’ experience at a Warehouse Shift Manager / Warehouse Manager, Operations Manager or Logistics Manager level - Essential. * Have managed teams beyond 10+ employees through managerial reports - Essential. * A working knowledge of WMS / ERP systems - Advantageous. * Exceptional people management and leadership skills - Essential. * Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities - Essential. * Commutable to Loughborough - Essential.
