DescriptionWe are not supporting candidates who require sponsorship for this position.We utilise our Preferred Agency Supplier Partners as and when we require additional support.Closing date: 27th October 2024This is a 6 month Fixed term contractWorking pattern: Hybrid but you will need to flexible depending on team tasks and resources. Weetabix Wednesday is a non-negotiable where we all come into the office for business partnering and meetings.The recipe! The primary aim of this position is to guarantee that our food safety systems are not only established but also functioning effectively and adhering to industry best practices and customer standards. You will play a key role in assisting plant teams with the rollout of food safety initiatives. Additionally, you will offer valuable guidance and coaching to business units and external partners on all things related to food safety. Key responsibilities include: Developing, implementing, and maintaining the food safety management system. Conducting regular risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of food safety. Providing training and support to staff regarding food safety practices and protocols. Maintaining documentation for food safety processes and procedures. RequirementsNon-negotiatbles Level 4 HACCP trained and proven experience in food safety management within the food manufacturing sector Level 3 Food Safety trained Technical and quality background Excellent communication skills both verbal and written PC skills (word, excel and powerpoint are essential Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with diverse teams. Good analytical and problem-solving abilities. A proactive approach to ensuring compliance and promoting food safety initiatives.
