Operations Director

Solution is working in partnership with London’s leading main contractor. The majority of projects are in central London completed on behalf of many high profile and demanding clients. Their diverse sectors range from commercial , historical buildings, prime residential , education , hospitality, and leisure up to £200m in value. Owing to continued growth and a record breaking 2024 they are looking to appoint an experienced and talented operations director who can demonstrate detailed success and loyalty within London’s commercial offices marketplace gained within leading main contractor boosting an impressive and relevant portfolio of both newbuild and cut & carve refurbishment . Arriving from a strong delivery background you will have previously been a Project Lead on some good size schemes, showing an ability to lead people and know complicated construction. Having now progressed in your career you will have ideally led at least 1 or 2 commercial building schemes concurrently over £75m in value and be responsible in overseeing 2-3 projects (live or PCSA) and assist with tenders. You will be responsible for all aspects of delivery, including supporting the pre-construction team through the first phase and taking ownership of the pre-construction activities through the second stage to contract execution. You will lead a team of Operations and Project Directors whilst overseeing a portfolio of projects & clients. You will be well connected and have contacts in the industry so as to bring in new opportunities with Clients and consultants.
