Design Manager

A great opportunity to join a global Design Engineering consultancy immersed in the UK Water sector for over 100 years. Our client is recruiting for an experienced Design Manager / Design Lead to provide technical input to their affiliated delivery contractor and the project team working on behalf of South West Water. As Design Manager / Design Lead you will play a vital role in our clients quest for engineering excellence. As Design Manager / Design Lead you will: * Be vital in the delivery of multi-disciplinary designs for either water or/and non-infrastructure projects. * Lead the design team to successfully deliver projects and create a positive environment, where staff are engaged and able to reach their potential. * Have the technical ability to lead the development of affordable and low carbon solutions * Manage the risks of design within the team's submission and ensure timely and impressive delivery of our newly won projects Our client requires a Design Manager with: * HND/Degree in an engineering related discipline * Extensive experience working in a multi-disciplinary design environment * Experience of working on major projects within the Water sector, involving both Civil and M&E aspects Salary and benefits include: * £55,000 - £65,000 per annum. * Agile/Hybrid working * Attractive benefits package including Life Assurance and option to purchase additional annual leave If you would like more information, or to apply for this vacancy, please contact Kelly Evans on (phone number removed).
