Quality Inspector (Defence) £30,000 - £35,000 + Company benefits + Overtime + Progression Sittingbourne Are you a Quality Engineer with a background in Aerospace or Defence Manufacturing looking for the opportunity to work for an independent, family-owned manufacturing business that has been involved in the defence and aerospace industries since the 1950s? On offer is the opportunity to join a company specialising in the design, development, and project management of specialised containers and handling equipment. Due to continued growth and new projects, they are looking to hire a Quality Inspector to join their Quality Department in a full-time, office-based position with occasional site visits as required. Your role will include performing dimensional and visual part inspections using gauges and other relevant equipment, controlling the inspection of parts received from suppliers, and verifying First Article Inspection (FAI) data to AS9102 requirements. You will also initiate and investigate non-conforming parts, liaise with suppliers for corrective actions, and perform product release in the ERP system. This role would suit an experienced Quality Inspector with background in Aerospace or Defence Manufacturing, who is looking for a hands-on position within a growing company that offers career progression and professional development.
