Portfolio Analyst Function: Strategy & Change Location: Hybrid/Nottingham                 Contract type: Perm. Job Ref: 911 Salary: £38,728 potential to rise to £45,562 over 3 years Closing Date: Friday 25th October 2024  As a result of an internal promotion, we are now looking to appoint a Portfolio Analyst.   The NHS Supply Chain business has an ongoing ambitious transformation programme which is driven in large part, by the modernisation of much of the IT technology estate and implementation of new capabilities in the logistics network.  Management, steering and coordination of all key transformation activities is structured under a set of programmes and projects which, combined, form a single change plan across all aspects of NHS Supply Chain.  This role is an exciting opportunity to join a business with a growing focus on the delivery of change and transformation. You will have the opportunity to work with all our different business areas and deliver change which really drives value for our end customers across the NHS. You will also have an opportunity to bring ideas and experience forward to help drive continuous improvement in the way that we deliver change.  Every day you will …  Engage with our key stakeholders and identify best practice to support the evolvement of our Change Framework and associated PPM standards through continuous improvement. Conduct assurance activities across the programmes and projects, ensuring adherence to the Change Delivery Framework and other PPM standards.  Provide support to users of the Change Framework through engagement, coaching and capability building activities. This role will also define and implement a PPM knowledge management approach including a lessons learned framework, processes and tooling.    What can we offer you? What skills will help you thrive in this role? Extensive understanding of portfolio, programme and project management methodologies as per MoP / P3O, Prince2 or equivalent standard  Expertise in successfully embedding large scale transformational change and how to track and realise the benefits that change delivers  Experience of influencing and managing stakeholders and third-party vendors Ability to produce content suitable for Exec level meetings Experience of working within a PMO and in a fast-changing business environment Want to develop your career with the NHS Supply Chain?
