The role of the Design Manager Industrial Roofing & Cladding Systems will involve:
Design Manager position dealing with various industrial roofing & cladding systems such as: metal roofing, wall cladding, flat roofing, asbestos roofing, gutter refurbishment and roofing refurbishment
- Ensuring all construction drawings and designs are produced on time to a high standard
- Managing the development and implementation of design proposals and ensure they meet the clients expectations
- Ensure all drawings and revisions comply with project specifications and manufacturers latest installation guidance
- Ensuring designs have relevant documentation to support them
- Act as the central point of contact for all design-related inquiries
- Managing a team of 3-4 designers / draughtsmen
- Facilitating the designs for projects that could range in value up to £4m
The ideal applicant will be Design Manager Industrial Roofing & Cladding Systems with:
Must have Senior Designer / Design Management experience within the industrial roofing and cladding market sector
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
High levels of attention to detail and organisation
Familiar with working in a fast paced environment dealing with multiple projects at any one time
Enthusiastic, team player, who works well individually also
