Assessor – Electrical 22.5 hours per week (3 days).   Start: ASAP Due to a massive increased demand for professional, hard working cover staff in the area, TeacherActive are looking to recruit IMMEDIATELY for people to join the team and help support a college in the Aylesbury area. TeacherActive are looking for flexible and enthusiastic assessor to help support the lecturer in the electrical department. All of the work is set by the Lecturer and you would help assess and support with the students development. Qualified Teacher Status is not necessary to apply, though previous education based experience is essential. As a Assessor in Electrical you will require the following: NVQ in Electrical Installation and the 18th Edition. Supporting and guiding learners to develop KSBs Delivering training and hosting workshops Carry out observations in the learner’s workplace Collecting evidence to develop a learner’s portfolio Giving feedback to the learner following assessments Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Excellent communication  High level of in depth industry experience TeacherActive will be able to offer successful Cover Supervisor a friendly and approachable service along with the following: Competitive rates of pay An experienced consultant who will support you in your placements Introductions to other schools which use Cover Supervisors All of our supply staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you’re paying the right level of Tax and National Insurance and there’s no messing around with admin charges coming out of your hard earned cash.
