Estimator

Estimator Location: Halifax We are looking for an Estimator to join our growing team at a roofing subcontractor based in Halifax. The role is primarily office-based (95% office, 5% on-site), and you will be responsible for preparing detailed estimates for pitched roofing projects. Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate estimates for pitched roofing projects, based on specifications, drawings, and site visits (as required). Spend 95% of your time in the office preparing bids, with occasional site visits for assessments (approx. 5% on-site). Work closely with suppliers and subcontractors to collect competitive cost data. Review project specifications and ensure estimates are aligned with client expectations. Provide cost breakdowns for internal and external reporting. Ideal Candidate Requirements: 5 years of experience in pitched roofing. 3 years of estimating experience within the roofing or construction industry. Strong IT skills, particularly with estimating software and Microsoft Office. A valid driver's license. Salary and Benefits: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum. Option of a company vehicle. TPBN1_UKTJ
