You will be required to complete a comprehensive training programme delivered by Vision for Education and school leaders, which will give you the essential skills you need to work as a Teaching Assistant.
Responsibilities:
Supporting teachers in delivering high-quality lessons Working with individual or small groups of students to support their learning Helping to create a positive learning environment Providing feedback to teachers and parents about students' progress Attending training sessions to improve your skills and knowledge Following school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and behaviour management

We have positions available for day-to-day supply, long-term placements, and permanent roles in Primary, Secondary, and SEND schools across Devon. Working as part of Vision's NTAP team, you will be given the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a variety of educational settings, making you an ideal candidate for future permanent roles.
Requirements
To be considered to join the National Teaching Assistant Progamme you will:
Willingness to learn and develop new skills Experience working with children, young people or adults with additional needs. Available to work 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, 8.30 - 15.30
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
Must be willing to apply for or already hold a Child/Child and Adult DBS on the Update Service. Be able to provide two relevant professional references. #visionplymouth
