We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join a prestigious event catering and party design company based in Wimbledon. Our client is renowned for their innovative, bespoke services and exceptional, restaurant-quality cuisine. Were on the lookout for a Sous Chef whos not only creative and organized but also has excellent leadership and management skills. This role involves stepping into the Head Chef position during events, so confidence in leading a kitchen is a must. Working hand-in-hand with the Executive Head Chef, the Sous Chef will be involved in crafting imaginative dishes and bringing fresh, exciting techniques to the table. This role is perfect a Sous Chef looking to grow within a dynamic company that values long-term commitment and collaboration. Sous Chef Key Details: Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM 5:00 PM, with additional evening and weekend shifts during events (overtime is paid). Event Frequency Typically, 2-3 evening events per week and occasional weekend work (1 in every 3 weekends). Compensation: Total package around £50,000 per year, including a base salary of up to £38,000 with 30% additional earnings through overtime. Holidays: 20 days annual leave, increasing to 25 with tenure, plus bank holidays Additional Benefits: Company bonus scheme and pension contributions.
