As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing tailored support to secondary-aged students with PMLD, helping them succeed in a supportive and adaptive educational setting. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored, one-on-one support to secondary-aged students with PMLD, ensuring a caring and inclusive environment that encourages learning. Assist with personal care and mobility needs, ensuring students remain comfortable and well-cared for throughout the school day. Work alongside teachers and other specialists to help deliver personalised learning plans for each student. Develop and maintain positive connections with students, promoting their independence, confidence, and personal development. About You: Experience working with students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). A solid understanding of the unique needs and challenges these students face. Compassionate, patient, and committed to making a meaningful difference in students' educational experiences. Ability to work effectively with teaching staff and support professionals in a collaborative team environment.Requirements: Available Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Right to work in the UK. An enhanced DBS on the update service (If you don't have one, we can assist.
