IT Operations Analyst (24/7 Shift Pattern) Hendon - Shift Work Security Cleared and NPPV3 advantageous £409pd inside IR35 Initial 6-Month Contract Our client, a key player in the public sector, is currently seeking a Security Cleared Junior Ops Support professional for an initial 6 month contract position. This role is ideal for someone looking to make a significant impact within government operations. Duties that they will be required to carry out on shift are as follows: Monitoring of PNC service and responding to service impacting alerts, Monitoring of Service Now queue and processing of INC's and Password requests to customers Running of weekly and monthly batch work for Forces and Law Agencies, Processing of ad hoc Batch work Re-setting of passwords for customers Monitoring of critical network alerts and ensuring encrypted data is successfully transmitted. Liaising with Incident Management, Service Desk, and technical teamsEssential skills and experience: Interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate effectively and professionally Ability to work as part of a team Willingness to learn new technologies Analytical and problem-solving skills Demonstrating a strong sense of ownership and drive to follow tasks through to completion Maintaining customer focusDesirable skills and experience: Performing a similar role within the Civil Service or at other organisations Understanding and / or experience of ITIL Service Management Understanding of Lean, Agile and DevOps principles within a Product-centric delivery modelEssential qualifications: An understanding of Microsoft Suite, any previous customer service experience Desirable qualifications: Any previous monitoring experience
