Job Overview: As Product Specialist, you will promote and increase the usage of CliniMed Limited’s complete portfolio comprising Stoma devices, Urology and Continence products, Wound Care products and SecuriCare (Medical) Limited’s Home Delivery Service through all Hospital and Community outlets and Wholesalers. You will be responsible for the management and smooth running of your defined territory. Key performance Indicators agreed with your Line Manager to be achieved such as sales v target and customer activity. You will ensure that you are aware of all opportunities available to further increase our market share. Regular reports on your territory achievements, competitor analysis and promotional activities are to be submitted in a timely manner. Area: South East: (Postcodes: BN, BR, CT, DA, ME, RH, TN, Plus Isle of Wight (PO), Jersey (JE) & Guernsey (GY)) Job Responsibilities: To be aware of all opportunities to further increase our market share. To actively sell our products and services in a professional and structured way, with relevant product presentations, incorporating features and benefits. To continuously measure success using sales data against the territory targets set, these will include patients adopted onto our Home Delivery Service. To work every Hospital and primary care area as required with the aim of maximizing selling time with customers and minimizing traveling time. To be achieving the expected customer daily call rate requirements on territory. To formulate a journey plan that will ensure that all our customers and potential users are regularly visited either face to face or virtually and given the highest possible standards of service. To promote the company in a professional and ethical manner always. To be highly knowledgeable on competitors’ products and how to sell effectively against them. To maintain the highest possible standard of personal presentation at all times. To maintain accurate territory records and ensure that all administration is received strictly on time. To implement the strategy and tactics as directed and maintain business plans as agreed with your line manager. To work with local SecuriCare SCN’s and nurse bases to formulate joint activities to maximize product and HDS usage. To work with local ISC Clinics and specialist clinic teams to maximise product and HDS usage. To attend exhibitions and open days on territory, and off territory where required. To actively seek out and report to management any procurement landscape changes. To provide any market information that could be useful to the company. To maintain all company equipment in first class condition. To carry out special duties, as may be requested from time to time. Normal working hours are from 9.00 am - 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday, but by nature of our work, a high degree of flexibility is required, including weekend work as necessary. To exercise consideration, support and respect to all other members of the company. Requirements : Essential: Proven experienced salesperson in face to face selling environments, working against a daily call rate. Experience of Healthcare, Pharmaceutical sales or a clinical background. Experience of dealing with the NHS, Hospitals, community and key opinion leaders. Understanding of the new NHS landscape which includes ICS and PCN’s. Driving License. Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Customer focused with a proactive and “can do” attitude. Analytical and inquiring mind. Understanding of budgetary control. Influential/persuasive. Able to demonstrate initiative. Able to demonstrate success. Desirable: Experience of managing a large territory. Experience of working in the Medical Device Industry. Registered nurse. Experience of market access.
