Join B&M CaresSt LaurasCare Home inKings Langley as Deputy Care Manager and play a pivotal role in supporting the Home Manager in the day-to-day management of the home. Hours: 40(weekend work required and possible on call) Key Responsibilities as a Deputy Care Manager: Assist the Manager in efficiently and compassionately running the home. Supervise staff and work in a direct care capacity on a day-to-day basis. Report directly to the Home Manager or their appointed representative regarding all performed duties. Assume managerial duties in the absence of the Manager, ensuring the home operates to high standards and meets regulatory requirements. Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of appropriate training for staff. Have designated responsibility for the ordering, recording, administration, and disposal of the home's medication system. Contribute to maintaining adequate staffing levels and the correct staff mix. Essential Skills, Characteristics, and Experience: Must hold at least an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care. Experience in dementia care. Our Commitment to You: Competitive rates of pay.
