As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering value-driven input to projects, ensuring all commercial aspects are managed effectively in line with the contract and the clients expectations. You'll be part of a busy site based team, working closely with a Senior Quantity Surveyor and become an integral member of a cohesive and dynamic team. Your role will involve cost control, contract management, risk assessment, and effective communication with site teams, subcontractors, and client representatives. You other responsibilities will include: Managing and issuing accurate, timely, and compliant notices and correspondence. Preparing applications, valuations, and cost/value reconciliations. Controlling costs, forecasting, and providing input into monthly financial reports. Handling contract management, including negotiating and finalizing supply chain contracts. Assisting with risk and value management to optimize project outcomes. Liaising with site teams, subcontractors, and customers to ensure seamless project delivery. What We're Looking For: Demonstrable financial and commercial acumen. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Experience in contract management, cost control, and risk analysis. Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems quickly and effectively Knowledge of the NEC contract and previous heavy civil engineering and/or infrastructure experience A proactive and collaborative approach to teamworking.
