Are you a results-driven sales professional with a background in construction, civil engineering, or infrastructure? We are seeking an experienced Regional Business Development Manager to drive growth and manage accounts across North London and the Northeast.
As the Regional Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding market presence and developing strategic partnerships with key clients across the construction, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: Create and implement sales plans aimed at driving growth within the construction, civil engineering, and infrastructure sectors.
* Client Acquisition & Account Management: Identify, acquire, and nurture relationships with key accounts, including construction firms, contractors, and infrastructure organisations. Manage the sales lifecycle, from prospecting and initial engagement through to closing and post-sales support.
* Field-Based Relationship Building: Conduct regular on-site visits to client locations, providing consultative selling and understanding customer needs to deliver tailored security and access solutions.
* Market Research & Lead Generation: Continuously research market trends, monitor competitor activity, and identify new business opportunities within assigned territories.
* Collaborate with Technical and Operational Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of solutions, aligning with the operational and technical requirements of clients.
* Achieve Revenue Targets and KPI Objectives: Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs, contributing to the region’s overall growth goals.
Key Requirements:
* Proven Sales Experience in Relevant Sectors: Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a sales or business development role within construction, infrastructure, civil engineering, or security solutions.
* Field Sales Expertise: Demonstrated ability to manage on-site, territory-based sales, with a focus on consultative and technical selling in the B2B space.
* Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the construction, infrastructure, and civil engineering landscapes, with experience in selling to on-site project teams and end-users.
* Relationship-Driven: Exceptional relationship-building skills, with a focus on establishing and maintaining long-term client partnerships.
* Results-Oriented: Strong track record of meeting sales targets and KPI objectives, with a proactive approach to driving revenue growth.
* Location: Must be based in or willing to travel frequently across North London and the Northeast.
