Mechanical Engineer £55,000 - £70,000 Birmingham Principal/Associate Mechanical Engineer We are looking for a creative and driven Principal or Associate Mechanical Engineer to join our award-winning MEP Consultancy in Birmingham. You’ll take charge of projects from start to finish, working closely with clients, producing reports, specifications, and drawings to deliver successful outcomes. Key Responsibilities: * Lead client meetings and ensure effective communication with the project team. * Develop strategic concepts and ensure solutions meet client needs and regulations. * Oversee technical delivery, ensuring high standards. * Support and mentor junior staff. * Manage project budgets, fees, and resources. About You: * Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent), ideally Chartered or working towards it. * Excellent technical knowledge of building services and interdisciplinary design. * Experience leading teams and delivering complex projects in a multi-disciplinary environment. * Strong communication and client management skills.
