Finance Manager

Title: Finance Manager Location: North West London – hybrid Salary: £70-80k, plus bonus MT10257 Opportunity: Finatal is supporting a PE backed leisure business, seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join them on their route to exit. Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 1-2 management accountants, fostering collaboration and productivity. Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Collaborate with stakeholders to provide monthly analysis of financial results versus budgets. Support the Managing Director in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Bridge the gap between finance and business strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives. Own and manage monthly reporting, including profit margins, cost analysis, and financial performance insights. Oversee month-end processes, including reviewing and analysing financial data. Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Assist in statutory audit and compliance, supporting the Group Financial Controller. Support VAT returns, treasury projects, and foreign exchange strategy in collaboration with finance teams. Requirements: ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification, or equivalent Experience in an SME environment, ideally within the leisure or related industries. Private Equity experience is a plus. Experience in mentoring, developing, and leading a small finance team. Strong financial reporting experience, including ownership of month-end processes and P&L analysis. Ability to collaborate with non-financial stakeholders and provide strategic insights. Advanced Excel skills with proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting. Experience in VAT returns and compliance. Analytical mindset.
