Position: Learning Assistant for Exceptional Students (SEND) Do you have the passion to make a real difference? We're looking for a dynamic and compassionate individual to join our team as a Learning Assistant. Your mission? To support and empower students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including autism, to thrive in their learning environment. What You'll Be Doing: * Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups to help them reach their full potential. * Collaborating with teachers to create a learning environment that meets the unique needs of SEND students. * Developing personalized learning strategies that make education accessible and enjoyable. * Helping students build confidence, independence, and social skills. * Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom atmosphere. The successful candidate will benefit from: * Supportive team surrounding yourself in the education system. * Enthusiastic learners. * Full time (8:30am -3:30pm). * A competitive pay rate- * Working in a local SEND School Students, graduates or experience in childcare will benefit from our FREE training courses: * Online PREVENT Training (CPD accredited) * Online Level 2 – Safeguarding children in schools (CPD accredited) * We also have training and guides all are available to our candidates in the following areas: A guide to becoming a cover supervisor, how to deal with challenging behavior, SEND/ALN, Autism awareness, Formative and summative assessment, Classroom support – The role of a teaching assistant and a Guide to tutoring.
