Warehouse Operative

Position: Warehouse Operative Location: Dartford, Kent Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pay Rate: £11.44 - £12.44 per hour About the Role: As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for handling order preparation, dispatching goods, and ensuring quality control across all items before dispatch. This role involves working with internal and external partners, managing stock control processes, and supporting exhibition stock preparation when necessary. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, team-driven, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities: * Pick, prepare, and dispatch orders accurately and on time * Handle internal and external queries professionally * Conduct quality checks on goods ready for dispatch to ensure accuracy in items, quantity, and quality * Cleaning and washing off-hired equipment to ensure it meets expected standards * Receiving and inspecting off-hired equipment * Reporting missing or damaged items to the relevant teams * Schedule and book deliveries with designated courier services * Maintain general warehouse and car park housekeeping standards * Load and unload goods safely * Support stock control and participate in regular inventory checks * Assist in exhibition stock management and related processes Skills and Experience Required: * Prior experience in a fast-paced warehouse setting * IT literacy, including proficiency with MS Office and warehouse management systems * Strong communication skills for interaction with various departments via email, Teams, and phone * Forklift licence (preferred, though training can be provided) * Valid driving licence (preferred, but not essential) * Attention to detail and commitment to delivering excellence * Positive, respectful attitude and team-oriented mindset Company Values: * Can-Do Attitude * Enthusiasm & Positivity * Honesty and Accountability * Commitment to Excellence * Respect and Care for Others Apply today to join a dynamic team that values dedication, precision, and a collaborative approach
