SEN Teaching Assistants - Long-Term Positions Location: Lambeth, London Position: SEN Teaching Assistants (Full-Time, Long-Term) Salary: £95 - £110 Are you passionate about working with children with special educational needs? We are looking for dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work at a well-established Secondary SEN school in Lambeth. These are long-term positions offering the chance to work closely with students who have a range of needs, including Autism, speech & language needs and learning difficulties. Key Responsibilities: Support the learning and development of pupils with a variety of SEN needs in both 1:1 and group settings. Assist teachers in planning and delivering tailored learning experiences for students. Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive and inclusive environment. Provide personal care and additional support for students with more complex needs. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to track and support each pupil's progress.Requirements: Previous experience working in a SEN setting, ideally with secondary-aged students. A caring, patient, and proactive attitude towards supporting children with additional needs. Strong communication and teamwork skills. The ability to manage challenging behaviour effectively.
