Water Hygiene Operative - Corsham Are you looking for a rewarding role in a busy Estates/Facilities Management environment? If so, this could be the opportunity for you! We are seeking a Water Hygiene Operative to join our Estates Team in Corsham. Working across a large site, you'll collaborate closely with the in-house team to ensure compliance with ACOP L8, HSG274, and Legionella management guidelines. This role is vital in ensuring water treatment and safety across the estate. Key Responsibilities: Conduct weekly flushing of infrequently used outlets and temperature monitoring. Perform cold water tank inspections and coordinate with 3rd-party contractors for remedial work. Carry out planned preventive maintenance tasks in line with statutory requirements (e.g., shower head replacement). Assist with cleaning and disinfection tasks, supporting 3rd-party contractors with cold water storage tanks. Identify and address failures in thermostatic mixing valves and taps, assisting with repairs. Service and clean strainers as part of routine maintenance.Requirements: Experience in a similar role, focused on water treatment, monitoring, and maintenance. Knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG274 compliance and a passion for water safety. Strong problem-solving skills and a technical mindset. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.What We Offer: Competitive salary ranging from £24,000 to £29,000.
