Job Details Due to continued growth, expansion and investment, positions are now available for experienced Quality Inspectors with a background in the Precision Engineering sector, able to measure parts and components to tight tolerances, working with various measuring equipment including manual measuring equipment and CMMs for a varied client base. Duties: Quality Inspection of precision machined parts and components Measuring to tight tolerances using manual measuring equipment and CMMs. Working from Engineering drawings. Skills & Experience: Able to operate CMMs (Aberlink would be ideal but not essential). Experience of working with manual measuring equipment such as micrometres, verniers, gauges and calipers. Able to read and interpret engineering drawings. Working Environment: State-of-the-art subcontract machine shop 40+ on shop floor 8 in the Quality Department Busy, Clean and Tidy Open door policy to their customers Hours: 41.5hrs er week 8am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday 8am to 4pm, Friday Lots of Over Time available - standard rate Mon-Fri, x1.5 Saturday and x2 Sunday TPBN1_UKTJ
