We are looking for a dynamic Planner to be the key point of contact in scheduling and coordinating all repairs. In this role, you will have the chance to work closely with our valued customers, ensuring they receive an outstanding level of customer service and care.
This is an exciting, fast paced opportunity where no two days are the same! Last year alone, our Planning team scheduled 5,500 priority jobs and 16,000 for responsive repairs. If you are forward thinking and enjoy problem solving, this is the role for you.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring our resources are allocated effectively. Whether you are on the phone coordinating with colleagues or planning schedules, your decisions will directly impact the quality of service that we provide.
While experience in a similar role is not essential (we offer full training), strong decision making skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service are must-haves.
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan responsive and planned works within the scheduling system to maximise the efficient use of resources to ensure targets are achieved.
  • Liaise with our customers to ensure awareness of any amended appointment slots and the likely duration of works.
  • Monitor progress of appointments and liaise with colleagues to ensure appointment slots are kept.
  • Support the Customer Service centre and communicate any changes/issues.

This role is being offered on a full time, permanent basis and will be based in our Exeter office.
About The Candidate
To be a successful Planner, you shouldhave the skills, knowledge and experience for a Level 1 role (please see our candidate information pack) and the following:
  • Be organised; confident in managing diary appointments.
  • Be able to think creatively when necessary.
  • Be curious and persuasive.
  • Have great communication skills with the ability to build a rapport.
  • Have problem solving skills.
  • Be confident in speaking with a variety of customers - both internal and external.
  • Have strong administration experience with customer service at the heart of everything you do.
  • Have excellent decision making and problem solving skills.
