As a SR Program Manager, you’ll be leading the geography expansionsfor Amazon Freight EU, an essential part of innovating and transforming ourprocesses. You’ll be taking the lead on the design and launch of new geos forour customers. This position is based out of our London Corporate Office, with theflexibility to work remotely up to two days per week in line with Amazon’scurrent flexible work guidance. Key job responsibilities - Launch Amazon Freight to new geographies to unlock total addressableopportunity - Create Go to Market strategy for unlock new geography potential and successplan - Launch programmes, monitor performance metrics, and report on the status ofkey objectives that affect deliverables - Use data to understand operational challenges and create continuousimprovement initiatives - Work with a variety of other Amazon departments to identify and leveragebest practices - Within a programme environment, lead a multidisciplinary team in overcomingchallenges and drive progress - Manage stakeholders and internal processes, and define standards A day in the life As a Senior Programme Manager, you will be responsible for planning,implementing, and improving initiatives that ensure the smooth running of ouroperations. You’ll work closely with a range of Amazon colleagues tounderstand how they work, and what you and your teams can learn, as well assharing your own expertise. Together, you’ll identify exciting newopportunities and will take the lead when it comes to designing theirimplementation. You’ll encourage and support your teams and colleagues to meet importantdeliverables, while proactively looking for new, data-backed ways we could dothings better. Your work will be integral to your team’s success. About the team Amazon couldn’t deliver at pace without the Amazon Transportation Service(ATS) team. And we use the expertiseof our people to get packages to their destination – quickly, conveniently andsustainably. ### BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- A degree - Experience in Program Management and delivering complex projects - Experience in working with cross functional and executive stakeholders - Data analytics to evaluate and define strategic initiatives - Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influencebusiness decisions - Experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) andorSQL in a professional environment - Relevant experience driving end to end delivery, and communicating resultsto senior leadership ### PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Masters Degree (MBA) - Experience in launching organizations to new geographies (preferably EU) - Experience in creating go to market strategy to new launches - Experience in working with Tax, legal, compliance domain for understandingEU launch space - Experience in transportation organization Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
