Aspire People are recruiting for a specialist all-through school in the Telford area, dedicated to supporting individuals with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will need to build strong, trusting relationships with students, helping them to develop coping strategies, improve their behaviour, and engage positively in their learning. Key Responsibilities: * Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEMH needs. * Use restorative approaches to manage challenging behaviour and promote positive change. * Support students in developing social skills, self-regulation, and emotional resilience. * Contribute to the overall ethos and values of the school, promoting a safe and inclusive environment. * Ensure an inclusive and positive learning environment for pupils to thrive in. What We're Looking For: * Experience working with children and young people with SEMH needs or similar challenges. * A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to managing behaviour. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. * A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. * Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, social work, or a related field are desirable but not essential.
