Senior Data Engineer - UK - £70,000 - £90,000 My client is a leading data solutions provider transforming cost and carbon decision-making in a key sector. With a recent investment, they’re rebuilding their cloud-native data architecture to provide real-time insights and support sustainability initiatives. The Role They’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to play a crucial role in modernising their data infrastructure. You’ll work with Azure services such as Data Lake, Data Factory, and Databricks to build scalable pipelines, optimise data processes, and deliver impactful solutions. Collaborate cross-functionally to shape a forward-thinking data strategy in a growing team environment. Key Responsibilities Design and build scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, and Databricks. Develop, maintain, and optimise database schemas and data models for both relational and NoSQL databases. Implement CI/CD pipelines, containerised solutions (Docker, Kubernetes), and real-time data ingestion workflows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement across the data architecture. About You Proficient in Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks, and Synapse Analytics. Skilled in SQL and Python for complex data pipelines and ETL processes.
