Repairs & Maintenance Social Housing
Remote position (some travel to clients required)
We are working with a leading Procurement Consultancy to recruit a Commercial Manager to join their successful, expanding team working with UK Public Sector Organisations within Affordable Housing.
As the Commercial Manager, you will be working with the Procurement team, creating commercial models for inclusion in public sector tenders. We are looking for somebody with extensive knowledge and experience of contracts including JCT & TPC.
You will engage and manage clients (Housing Associations and Local Authorities), reviewing their existing commercial arrangements, assessing if they are being delivered in accordance with the contract.
Key requirements:
- Commercial experience within the housing sector, in repairs and maintenance / planned works / compliance workstreams
- Negotiation skills
- Influencing skills, gaining the confidence of your clients
- Contract experience (JCT/TPC)
- Good IT skills
- Drive and determination to provide a great service to our customers
- Ability to work independently without high levels of supervision
