Job description
Candour Talent Recruitment is currently recruiting for a QHSE Manager to join our well-established client in Gloucester. This key role is responsible for maintaining the Quality Management System, ensuring ISO9001:2015 accreditation, and promoting a strong Health and Safety culture throughout the company. The QHSE Manager will lead a dedicated team, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
Main Responsibilities
- Oversee and monitor QHSE performance, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and company policies.
- Lead and manage the QA/QC and Document Control teams to achieve department goals.
- Ensure that all inspections, documentation, and testing processes are completed accurately and in line with company standards.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and third-party auditors on all QHSE matters, ensuring expectations are met and standards are upheld.
- Maintain the company's Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with ISO9001:2015, and manage internal audits and corrective actions.
- Chair Health and Safety/Business Improvement meetings, evaluate system effectiveness, and support the implementation of improvements.
- Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and manage emergency procedures including fire safety, accident reporting, and PPE compliance.
- Provide regular reports on QHSE performance to senior management and external authorities, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
- Deliver QHSE inductions and training to employees, ensuring competence and understanding of safety standards.
