We are looking for a Linux Infrastructure Engineer to join our client's team, a leading global provider of multi-asset electronic trading and payment platforms . Their cutting-edge, secure private SaaS solutions help customers drive business growth with cost-effective, technologically advanced, end-to-end services. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the organization's infrastructure, ensuring its reliability and performance. Your primary duties will include incident resolution, project work, and providing support in a 24/7 environment, as well as a commitment to service excellence and teamwork. Key Responsibilities: Incident Resolution: Respond to and resolve infrastructure incidents, problems, and service requests within established service level agreements (SLAs). Troubleshoot and address infrastructure-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Ticket Management: Prioritize and manage incoming tickets related to infrastructure, ensuring timely and effective resolution. Document and maintain a detailed record of incident and problem resolution for future reference and continuous improvement. Project Work: Collaborate on infrastructure projects to design, implement, and optimize infrastructure-based solutions. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of infrastructure-related projects. 24/7 Support: Participate in shift rotations to provide around-the-clock support for our infrastructure. Collaborate with team members across different time zones to address global infrastructure issues. Service Excellence: Maintain a strong commitment to service excellence by delivering high-quality solutions and support to internal stakeholders. Identify and implement best practices to enhance infrastructure operations and performance. Team Spirit: Foster a positive team spirit within the IT department by collaborating effectively with colleagues. Share knowledge, mentor junior team members, and contribute to a cooperative and productive work environment. Desired skills & experience: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Previous experience in infrastructure management, incident resolution, and project work in on-prem environments. Strong knowledge of Linux Operating Systems and server administration. Strong knowledge of networking, security, and best practices. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to work in shift rotations and provide 24/7 support as needed. Relevant cloud certifications Certified Kubernetes Administrator, Docker Certified Associate or equivalent, are a plus.
