Are you ready for a career where you’re always ahead?#LI-HybridThis is the jobAs a Product Designer at AA-X, you’ll collaborate with a team of talented and passionate individuals to design, launch, and incubate next-generation B2B and B2C connected car products that revolutionise the car ownership experience.You’ll define, design, research, prototype, and implement new features, as well as iterating on existing ones. We’re seeking a Designer who is enthusiastic about leveraging new technology to solve problems and dedicated to creating transformative user experiences. You should possess a blend of interaction design, visual design, and product thinking skills. Being customer-obsessed and research-driven is essential. You should be a natural collaborator, capable of working both independently and within a team environment.We're excited to see your work, therefore please include your portfolio as part of your application.What will I be doing?Oversee the user experience of a product or feature from conception to launch, owning the end-to-end design across multiple features or products.Contribute to the creation and evolution of design tools and frameworks, including the Design System, experience principles, and ways of working.Foster user-centricity, ease of use, and seamless connections between products by focusing on the customer journey and addressing problem statements.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and marketers, to integrate research findings and align business goals with user needs.Manage workload, responsibilities, and deliverables to ensure the success of the design team, squad, and department.Facilitate workshops, present designs, prototypes, and concepts to cross-functional partners and stakeholders, while actively demonstrating AA-X values and behaviours.What do I need?Showcase Your Skills: Demonstrable portfolio of visual design, interaction design, and product thinking showcasing your experience with designing for both B2B and B2C environments across web and app. Experienced within both start-up and corporate organisations.Design with Purpose: Utilise your deep understanding of user-centred design methods, UX research, and product discovery to create clear, impactful designs. Experience with data visualisation is a plus!Solve Real Problems: Focused on creating experiences that address user problems and business opportunities. Your designs will balance qualitative and quantitative insights, driving real business outcomes.Collaborate and Innovate: Experienced with engineering, product owners, and data science teams. Tooling experience utilising Figma, Miro, and Jira to bring your ideas to life. Experience with Design Systems (Figma/Storybook) is a big plus.Communicate and Inspire: Comfortable with presenting your work to broader product teams and leaders, clearly articulating goals, concepts, and designs.
