Year 4 Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Behavioural Support Location: Islington (Old Street) Position Type: Full-time (starting after October half-term) Agency: Tradewind Education Recruitment At Tradewind we are seeking an experienced Year 4 Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with behavioural issues at a primary school located in Islington, near Old Street. This is a full-time role, starting after the October half-term break. Key Responsibilities: Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a Year 4 pupil with behavioural needs. Work closely with the class teacher to implement strategies for positive behaviour management. Encourage social and emotional development, ensuring the child is fully engaged in the curriculum. Help create a positive and safe learning environment. Support with any additional educational needs as required.Requirements: Proven experience working 1:1 with children who have behavioural issues. A background in primary education, particularly in Key Stage 2 (KS2). Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques. Patience, resilience, and excellent communication skills.
