Key Responsibilities:

• Safe Transportation: Operate HGV vehicles in compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Route Planning: Follow planned routes efficiently and accurately to ensure timely deliveries.
• Load Management: Ensure loads are secure and properly distributed before departure.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate delivery records and logbooks, reporting any issues as necessary.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure safety and performance; report any maintenance needs.
• Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients upon delivery, addressing any queries or concerns.
• Compliance: Adhere to all road traffic regulations and company policies, including working hours and rest periods.

Qualifications:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E)
• CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
• A minimum of insert number years of experience driving HGVs.
• A clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
• Strong knowledge of UK road regulations and compliance standards.
• Good communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
