4D Production Specialist

Reporting to Senior Production Specialist, the 4D Production Specialist shall support the production and development of Digital Engineering tasks, specifically 4D but may also include providing production support in model creation, simulations, visualisations and quantity take offs from 3D models. They will contribute to the successful delivery of Digital Engineering tasks for both tendering and live projects. Your mission Assist in ensuring that the models are suitable for achieving the goals, objectives and targets described in the BIM Execution Plan or Project requirements. Assist in ensuring that the building information data quality (graphical and non-graphical) and the level of information need are accurate, and the right information is delivered to the client/appointing party. Support in generating the digital engineering output in accordance with the projects methods and procedures. Be open to receiving support other production personnel as and when required. Share knowledge and solutions related to technical workflows with co-modelers. Capture best practices, workflows, lessons learned and communicate it within the project and wider team. Communicate effectively with all the stakeholders including supply chain regarding the requirements of the Digital engineering output. Assist operational delivery in aligning with current digital engineering best practice guidance coming from the DPS Centres of Excellence (COEs). Contribute to best practice guidance in the DPS Centres of Excellence (COEs). Deliver to a high standard in accordance with the agreed project scope Who are we looking for? Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals. Good communication skills (written and verbal). Must be a self-starter and possess the drive to pursue continued education on digital technologies. Must be attentive to the details and assure that their digital engineering outputs are checked thoroughly before sharing with others Must hold a satisfactory level of technical competency relating to construction project technology focused specifically on one or more of the below: 2D/3D Information Production, 2D/3D Information Coordination, Visualisation, Planning & Scheduling, Commercial, BIM for Sustainability, BIM for FM Operations (digital twins & AIMs), MMC and DFMA Desirable Technical education or 1-2 years' experience in Construction or related fields Experience working on construction projects in digital domain. 4-5 years experience in 4D construction sequencing Knowledge of BIM coordination process is beneficial but not mandatory. Competency in Synchro or Navisworks and proficient in any other relevant Autodesk/ Adobe/ Bentley software required for delivering high end 4D visualisations (After Effects, Premier Pro, Revit, etc). Ability to lead in this specific area and capability to support with the 4D Competence Centre and provide 4D upskilling/training for the wider business. Whats in it for you?
