Your New Company We're delighted to be collaborating with a leading UK Law firm that are conducting a market search for a dynamic commercial litigation solicitor in Belfast to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for advocacy, a keen eye, exposure to judicial review, and the ability to navigate complex legal challenges. Your New Role In your new role as the commercial litigation solicitor, you will handle a diverse caseload of commercial disputes, including; business disputes, breach of contract, and property disputes amongst other areas. You will also represent parties in complex judicial reviews and regulatory challenges, analysing decisions made by public bodies to ensure compliance with the law and relevant procedures. You will seek redress through judicial review when public bodies fail to adhere to legal requirements. Day to day you will draft court documents, pleadings, and submissions, conduct legal research, provide strategic advice to clients, build, and maintain strong client relationships, attend court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations, present compelling arguments on behalf of clients and collaborate with barristers and experts as needed. What You Need To Succeed To make a strong application to commercial litigation solicitor role, you will be a qualified solicitor (Northern Ireland, England & Wales or the Republic of Ireland), ideally with 2YRS PQE and above, with substantial experience in commercial litigation. Have a proven track record in handling judicial review cases. Possess excellent research, drafting, and advocacy skills. Have strong attention to detail and analytical abilities. An ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
