Role: Software Product Manager Type: Permanent Location: London, UK Salary: Up to £100K per annum Forsyth Barnes is recruiting on behalf of a client for a Software Product Manager in the commercial insurance sector, focusing on Policy Administration Systems (PAS) within the London insurance market. Role Overview The Product Manager will oversee the strategic roadmap for PAS software, including new insurance modules for the London insurance market. You'll collaborate closely with development teams to modernize existing systems and meet evolving market needs. Key Responsibilities * Product Strategy: Define and execute a product roadmap that aligns with business objectives and market trends. * Requirements Gathering: Work with cross-functional teams to gather and prioritize product needs based on market research and customer feedback. * Product Development: Lead the development process, using agile methodologies to refine product features. * Product Launch & Performance: Plan product launches, monitor performance, and adjust strategies to improve user satisfaction and retention. * Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary contact for internal teams and external partners, ensuring transparency and alignment. * Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks to ensure timely product delivery. * Product Exploration & Development * Research market needs and initiatives for the London insurance market. * Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements and ensure alignment with user needs. * Drive modernization efforts, including tech refreshes and integration with ACORD messaging standards. Required Experience * Insurance Expertise: Deep knowledge of the London insurance market and UK mid-market commercial insurance. * Product Management: 5–7 years of experience managing Policy Administration Systems or similar products. * Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software development processes. * Agile Methodologies: Experience with agile practices, product management tools, and team collaboration. * Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders
