Water Hygiene Engineer

Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester. Salary / Benefits £24k - £36k + Training + Benefits We are working closely with a company who specialises in Water Hygiene / Legionella services for Healthcare, Hospitality, Facilities Management, and Educational clients. They are now looking to take on a Water Hygiene Engineer in the North West region. Working independently, you will be responsible for carrying out various L8 compliance duties such as water sampling, TMV servicing, calorifier blowdowns, and showerhead descales in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines. Consideration will be given to candidates from: Oldham, Stockport, Warrington, Macclesfield, Liverpool, St Helens, Birkenhead, Wallasey, Bolton, Blackburn, Burnley, Preston, Huddersfield, Keighley, Bradford, Leeds, Wakefield. Experience & Qualifications: " Hands on experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer for a reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella company. " Excellent knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines. " Able to update onsite logbooks. " Managing work load in line with company and client needs. The Role: " Water sampling. " Temperature monitoring. " CWST cleans and disinfections. " Closed system sampling, analysis & dosing. " Showerhead cleans and descales. " Calorifier blowdowns. " Carrying out mains injections. " Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines. " Ensuring to update onsite logbooks upon completion of work.
