Religious Studies Teacher Location: Chorlton Full Time Must have QTS £150-£230 per day dependent on experience Education Personnel is looking for a Religious Studies (RS) Teacher for a full-time role in Chorlton. The role is set to start in November 2024 and will run until the summer term 2025, with the possibility of an extension or a permanent position. General duties of the Religious Studies Teacher will include: Effective Teaching: * Lead thought-provoking lessons on diverse religious and ethical topics. * Cater to students’ varied learning preferences. Curriculum Development: * Collaborate in the creation of an inclusive RS curriculum. * Include contemporary ethical issues in classroom discussions. Student Assessment: * Develop assessments that reflect students' understanding of religious concepts. * Offer timely and constructive feedback to support students' growth. Inclusive Teaching and Technology Integration: * Implement inclusive practices that respect diverse beliefs. * Integrate digital resources to enhance teaching. Extracurricular Activities: * Organise religious study groups or community engagement projects. * Encourage student participation in interfaith dialogues. Safeguarding and pastoral support.
