Year 5 Primary School Teacher (Maternity Cover) Location: Carshalton Beeches, SM5 Start Date: November 2023 Work Type: Full-Time, Maternity Cover School Type: Mainstream Junior Primary School (Ofsted Rated: Good) A mainstream junior primary school in Carshalton Beeches is seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 5 Primary School Teacher for a full-time maternity cover position, starting from November 2023. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Year 5 pupils, following the national curriculum. Create an inclusive classroom environment where all students feel supported in their learning. Collaborate with teaching assistants and other staff to support student progress and well-being. Assess and track student development, providing feedback and interventions where necessary. Contribute to the wider school community, ensuring the school maintains its Good rating from Ofsted. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Experience teaching within the UK, particularly in Key Stage 2. Strong classroom management and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
