Job Title: MEICA Commissioning Engineer Location: Southwest Water Region Job Description: Gearing Recruitment Solutions (GRS Ltd) is looking for an experienced MEICA Commissioning Engineer to join a leading tier 1 contractor in the Southwest Water region. This role offers long-term work, flexible working patterns, and covered travel expenses. Key Responsibilities: * Leading the commissioning of Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation (MEICA) systems for water infrastructure projects * Conducting on-site inspections and testing of MEICA systems to ensure they meet design specifications and operational requirements * Collaborating with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure smooth and efficient commissioning processes * Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the commissioning phase * Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during commissioning to minimize delays and ensure project success * Preparing and reviewing commissioning documentation, including test plans, reports, and handover documents * Liaising with clients and stakeholders to provide updates and ensure their commissioning requirements are met * Coordinating with suppliers and manufacturers for equipment installation and commissioning * Providing technical guidance and support to site teams during the commissioning process * Ensuring all commissioning activities are completed on time and within budget Essential Skills and Experience: * Extensive experience in MEICA commissioning within the water or wastewater industry * Strong technical knowledge of MEICA systems, including installation and testing procedures * Proven ability to manage and lead commissioning activities for large-scale infrastructure projects * Familiarity with AMP frameworks and relevant industry standards * Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality results * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively * Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., HND, Degree, or equivalent) * Flexibility to travel within the Southwest Water region as required Benefits: * Long-term work with a leading tier 1 contractor * Flexible working patterns to suit your lifestyle * Travel expenses covered within the region * Opportunity to work on critical infrastructure projects with a top-tier team Apply Today: Take the next step in your career with a leading contractor in the water industry, offering flexibility, support, and long-term opportunities
