Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Class 1 Container Driver to join our team for night work. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently to designated locations.
The pay rate for nights is £16.00 per hour Monday to Friday and £17.50 on a weekend.
Hours will vary depending on the candidates preference.
Duties
- Drive lorries to transport goods over short or long distances
- Follow delivery schedules and routes
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues
- Maintain accurate driving logs
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
Requirements
- Previous experience with containers is essential (1 year)
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Ability to drive flatbed lorries is advantageous
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
