Career and Employability Mentor

Are you passionate about empowering young people and helping them unlock their full potential? We are looking for a dedicated Career/Employability Mentor to support KS3, KS4, and KS5 students in their career development journey. Key Responsibilities: Provide ongoing support, motivation, and encouragement throughout the job search process, helping students stay positive and resilient. Empower individuals to enhance their employability and achieve their career aspirations. Offer personalised advice on career options, assisting students in identifying their strengths, interests, and values to align with potential career paths. Assist in developing essential employability skills, such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and adaptability. Guide students in effective job search strategies, including using job boards, social media, and direct outreach to employers. Encourage self-reflection and personal growth, helping students set achievable career goals and develop a long-term career plan.Qualifications and Skills: Experience mentoring or supporting young people in career development. Strong understanding of employability skills and job search strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students.
