Lab Technician

Lab Technician - London Platform Recruitment has partnered with an innovative computing client. They are looking to take on a lab technician with experience in optics/photonics and have a strong interest in HPC. The ideal candidate will have a degree in electrical and electronic engineering, computer science or a similar subject or alternatively 5 years of working experience in a test lab environment. Key responsibilities: + Organise PAT testing of equipment + Lab facility management + Design of electronic circuits and PCBs + Health and safety procedures and risk assessment knowledge Key skills: + PCB design and soldering experience + Competent in handling optical fibres and optoelectronic devices + Familiarity with python to operate automation equipment + Automation of RF & optical test and measurement equipment The salary is negotiable depending on previous experience with great company benefits.
