Security Engineer

Referment is seeking an experienced Security Engineer with a strong development background to join our FinTech client’s team. You’ll be working alongside their Core and Platform teams, ensuring security is seamlessly integrated into their cutting-edge development and runtime environment. Key Responsibilities: Implement engineering and automation practices to embed security into the development workflow. Build tools and software to enhance security across the platform. Harden the tech stack and ensure security is intuitive and visible to all users. Mentor team members and instil a security-first mindset. Requirements: 3+ years of hands-on experience in systems and software engineering. Strong understanding of systems, cloud, and software security. Proficient in Linux and orchestration runtimes; familiar with Agile and DevOps. Skilled in Python and Go, with flexibility to use the right tools for the job.
