Production Manager Offering Circa. £35,000 - £40,000 Basic Salary plus Benefits Our client is an established manufacturing operation in Leeds currently recruiting a Production Manager to support the continued growth and development of manufacturing. Production Manager – Key Responsibilities * Provide direction, management, recruitment, training, motivation and disciplinary of warehouse personnel. * Schedule production and communicate effectively with Team Leaders / Supervisors. * Provide clear direction to warehouse team to ensure customer deadlines are fulfilled in a timely and efficient manner. * Manage and monitor despatch, ensuring accurate despatch QA. * Ensure products, palletising and shipping meet required standards. * Communicate clearly with production teams to ensure KPIs are clearly translated and understood. * Provide continuous training to production personnel to improve efficiency. * Promote a ‘safety first’ culture to ensure workforce is working safely. * Ensure warehouse is ran in an orderly and tidy manner, making sure all stock is labelled correctly. Production Manager – Candidate * Experienced managing a Manufacturing / Production team. * Have a solid understanding of manufacturing operations with a key focus on safety. * Be commercially aware, experienced managing change within a manufacturing setting and be experienced scaling a team for growth. * Confident managing and training warehouse personnel, ideally conducting toolbox talks, identifying opportunities for personal development within team. * Have strong IT skills, experienced using Microsoft and CRM packages. The Production Manager position is offering £35,000 - £40,000 basic salary plus benefits. This is a full-time, permanent, day position, working Monday - Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm with flexibility, based at our client’s site in the Leeds area.
