KS1 & KS2 Teaching Assistant

Staff for Education are supporting a fantastic Primary School in the Newark area and we are recruiting for an enthusiastic and motivated Key Stage 1 & 2 Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible. This is a full time, long term position until the end of the academic year at least, due to increased needs of the class.

As a Primary KS1 & KS2 Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include: • Supporting the class teacher during lessons • Supporting KS2 SATs assessments • Working with small groups of pupils • Delivering one to one targeted sessions • Assessment and reporting to class teacher • Working across KS1 & KS2 year groups

To be successful for the role, you will: • Have a recognised Teaching Assistant Qualification • Have experience working within a school environment • Have a passion for working with young people and enhancing their learning
