Transport Manager

We Staff are recruiting for an experienced Transport Manager for one of our most prestigious clients based in Enfield, North London. Our client is looking for a experienced transport manager with a can do attitude. Duties/Requirements: * Monday to Friday 7:30am to 3:30pm * Salary from 45k - 48k * Good people management skills * Experienced CPC Manager * Good time management and planning skills * Ensuring Tachos are downloaded on a regular basis, in accordance with DVSA regulations * Proven experience in a transport or logistics management role is essential of at least 3 years * Manage daily transport operations, ensuring timely delivery of goods while optimizing costs of a Pallet Network delivery service * Comply with DVSA and H&S compliance at all time for 24 vehicles * Manage staff and driver performance, knowledge of ACAS process * All administration of keeping of files for the sole purpose of transport compliance * Entering all relevant data onto the fleet maintenance system ( R2C Software) * Supporting drivers with the tachograph entries and providing training and guidance with any infringement * Ensuring drivers are adhering to the rules and regulations of the UK Highways * Full responsibility for the maintenance, repairs and care of all vehicles and also yard MHE * Responsible for the supply chain that leads into the Transport Department If you are interested please apply and Mickey will be in contact Thank you
