Kitchen Manager
Worksop
Full Time - 42 hours
If you have a passion for cooking and enjoy working in a busy kitchen environment, our client would love to have you join their team as the Kitchen Manager.
Your role will be to ensure that their customers receive delicious, nutritious meals prepared with care. You will be responsible for the kitchen budget, the menu, ordering the ingredients and ensuring the kitchen is run aligned to Health and Safety requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience running a kitchen and working in a care home environment and have an interest in providing good quality food that meets the needs of the residents.
Key Responsibilities:
To implement and supervise all aspects of kitchen control e.g. menu's, hygiene, Health and Safety
To consult with residents on a regular basis to understand their needs, and to devise menus to meet these needs and to cater for those with specialist dietary needs within budget
To order catering consumables from suppliers in line with company purchasing policy
To have an understanding of H.A.C.C.P
To maintain agreed stock levels
To manage the porter kitchen team members

The ideal candidate will have experience:
Chef: 1 year (preferred)
Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
Kitchen experience: 1 year (preferred)
