Production Engineer The production engineer is to complete all required engineering tasks to enable the production of our customers’ products. Ensure correct assembly documentation is generated on time, to agreed production / kitting schedules. Ensure that the product follows the best process flow for manufacturing and that all tooling is purchased on time from approved suppliers. Production Engineer - Main Responsibilities Using customer-supplied information, create all required documentation so that the product may be manufactured for customer, industry standards Ensure that all tooling is available for manufacturing 100% on time to kitting/manufacturing schedule Maintain a good understanding of each manufacturing process and customer requirements Generate and manage Bill of Materials (BoM) 24 hours from request Raise and maintain customer query logs, manage updates and historic data, and keep on going issues highlighted Provide line support to resolve manufacturing issues Review and implement improvements ‘build reported’ by manufacturing to assembly instructions and help identify solutions to eliminate waste and improve quality output levels Generation of instructions for any mid-build changes Working with manufacturing on NPI products to ensure the best possible processes are used Being a key part of continual improvement activities Ensure the work area is kept clean, tidy, presentable and in line with our 5S programme For more information on the Production Engineer please email: (url removed)
